Space 289 was a live music, club venue & community hub in East London that closed in 2023 due to developers.
The venue hosted act such as Shy Girl, Aya, Facta, Lorraine James, Maxwell Sterling, Quendresa, Jess Lanza, Ok Williams, Aba Shanti, John T Gast, Kelman Duran, Balming Tiger, Al Wootton, Flora Yin Wong, Hiro Kone, Acre, Jana Rush, Silvia Kastel, Lauren Duffus, Giant Swan, Ehua, Aircode, Nexcyia, Aya, K means, Perc, Manni Dee and Overlook.
Working with promoters like; Planet Mu, Youth, ChinaBot, Parallel Lines, Circadian Rhtyhms, Pitchfork Music Festival and Accidental Meetings. The venue was founded and run by HF - Turns.
